  38. The 2MB board will support 800x600 in 24 bit. I don't think you can have
  39. 800x600x256 @ 70Hz on a 31 kHz monitor : the Cybergraphics monitor program
  40. defaults to 50 Hz for this res. The best bet is to get a PC SVGA monitor
  41. for using the Picasso screens and keep the NEC for the native Amiga
  42. screens.

  49. I think that CPU power is more important than which bus you've got
  50. (although obviously a faster bus helps). Since all the Gfx card screens are
  51. kept in Fast RAM and then copied to the Gfx Card RAM (As I understand it)
  52. if you can't have Z3 then a fast 030 or 040 will help. Since you have an
  53. 060 then you should find things very fast !

  58. CyberGraphX is definitely faster in 256 colour mode, and it also offers 15,
  59. 16 and 24 WB support as well (although 24bit is _very_ slow). CyberGraphX
  60. does NOT come with the Picasso. There's also the plus that CG looks like it
  61. will be the most supported system in the future (which is one reason I
  62. switched). You can run old Picasso programs under CG with the supplied
  63. emulation library.
